Wilbur Free Fridge
What's a Free Fridge?
A Free Fridge, or Community Fridge is a type of mutual aid project that enables food to be shared within a community.
Food is available for free and community members can drop off and pick up food as needed.
The Wilbur Free Fridge at Blackbird is open 24/7. Stop by anytime to donate, or take any food you need.
Located at 587 Abeel Street (x Dunn St.), "Kingston, NY"

Donate Food
Now that the fridge is in place, it needs to be stocked. Those interested in donating food can pick up a little extra on your trips to the store and drop it off, connect with local markets and restaurants to coordinate donation pickups, or donate home-cooked meals. Every little bit helps (just make sure to check the donation guideline first).
Volunteer to Check On It
The Wilbur Free Fridge is 100% Volunteer-operated. We want to make sure the fridge is operational, stocked, and in a sanitary state. If you are interested in volunteering, please reach out.
We look forward to working with the community in this way and encourage you to get involved in a way that works for you!
